Tiny restaurant serving the best pecking duck. Reserve ahead of time, they only make 20 ducks a day! Go in a small group.

Peruvian restaurant in Brooklyn where everything is so good. Order the ceviche, lomo saltado, a pisco sour and the key lime pie.

La Esquina is a Mexican speakeasy. At first glance it looks like a diner, but hidden downstairs is a really cool restaurant (you walk through the kitchen to get there).

Upscale Mexican restaurant by Chef Enrique Olvera. Please order the duck carnitas , uni tostada and the husk meringue corn mousse.
Flatiron - $$$
Meat on meat on meat. This place is great and was recommended to me by my Argentinean friends. Apparently it's also a fun to watch games here.

Without a doubt my favorite tacos in NYC. If you go to Chelsea Market, get ready to wait in line - but it's so worth it. Super casual, limited seating.

Go to Dizengoff for the silkiest hummus you'll ever have. This is a small stand in Chelsea Market so go in a small group for better chances of finding seats.

Home to the richest, gooeyist cookies in NYC. These cookies are famous and if you like giant chocolate chip cookies you need to try them.

A bakery so good it has an episode on Chef's Table (Netflix). Try the Birthday Cake, crack pie & the cookies!

Molly's specialty is their center-filled cupcakes - yes, they are stuffed with all sorts of amazing fillings. My favorite is the Chocolate Mousse cupcake.
